We all have an inner dialogue, which talks on and on during our daily lives. It's usually left to run 'unattended' and can often become dark or negative in content. We are affected by our past conditioning and our environment, whatever that may be but it is possible to 'attend' to this stream of consciousness. To do so passively is a form of Mindfulness, which has it use but it is also possible to take control of the internal dialogue and intentionally steer it into the pathways of happiness and well being. We can do this by the repetition of positive affirmations, either in normal wakefullness, in contemplation or in self-hypnosis. Used in this way we can defend ourselves from external negative influence and instruct our unconscious aspects to bring more positive energies and conditions into our lives.
In the following pages there will be many examples of positive self affirmatIon that you can select from and use. it's a good idea to choose one to use for a few days (or even longer) that suits your purpose and heads you in the direction you want your life experience to go.
